Many of us love the water and the thoughts of peaceful time there that these boating pictures evoke. These are original acrylics on canvas.

All paintings in this offering are on 1 1/2" thick canvases, with the detailed painting wrapping around the sides of the piece, requiring no framing, unless desired. All pieces have hanging hardware already installed in the back.

16" x 20" Boating Series: Headlight, acrylic on canvas (original)

The first painting, shown above, is the first in a Boating Series, called "Headlight", and is an original acrylic on canvas, sized 16"x20".

The second, below from the Rowing Series, called "Oars", will be available shortly as a high-quality archival reproduction print on canvas sized 20"x 40". The sculling oar on the left left is the pattern on the oars of the U.S. Olympic team in Rio.

Be sure to subscribe on the link at the top of the page to be notified as soon as this is available to ship!

The last piece available before being sent to gallery is also from the Rowing Series, called "White Shoes". It is an original 16" x 20" acrylic on canvas. The second view shows the wrap-around painted edges, as are on all three pieces in this offering. Artist's note: I learned by visiting the Detroit Boating Club on Belle Isle that the shoes on sculling boats are anchored right to a plank in the base of the boat for extra push-off!

To purchase any of the above pieces here, go to the Purchase page listed on the menu at the top of the page.

FRAMING YOUR PIECE

All pieces will arrive unframed. Paintings and portaits are created with a gallery-wrapped or color-banded edge, so that it may be hung with or without a frame.

Pieces are in standard sizes (unless specially noted) for ease of framing.
